Santiago Valdez vs Manny Damaso

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uruguay-Montevideo promoted show at Nicandro Bea Gym, Montevideo,  taking place on 02/03/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uruguay-Montevideo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Valdez (7 - 5) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Manny Damaso(6(1) - 1 - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Valdez weighed in at 126 pounds, while Damaso weighed in at 125 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Juan Polino, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Santin, Desiderio Cuesta and Berto Beltre.
