Joaquin Quijas vs Fidel Villalpando

Boxing Daily Report from the Ondoa Promotions promoted show at Fidel Cavazos Gym, Montevideo,  taking place on 03/03/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uruguay Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joaquin Quijas (7 - 6) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Fidel Villalpando(5 - 4) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Quijas and Villalpando weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Santin, and the three ringside judges are Neron Villarruel, Jair Vilchis and Ryo Canedo.  

Round 1: 

Quijas is looking to keep his distance.  Villalpando lands a straight 1 - 2.
