Lavaughn Kuntempa vs Aftab Kanan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Zambia-Copperbelt promoted show at Kitwe Chintu, Kitwe,  taking place on 14/03/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the African Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ZNBC, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Lavaughn Kuntempa (12(1) - 1(1)) who hails from Kitwe, Zambia and Aftab Kanan(11 - 1) from Sale, Morocco.  Both Kuntempa and Kanan weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mykelti Shona, and the three ringside judges are Kwau Ndovi, Deion Kalilele and Mablevi Machila.
