Boxing Daily Report from the Hacopyan Promotions promoted show at Kampala Juma, Kampala,  taking place on 14/03/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Eastern African Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Joshua Kimutai (10 - 1 - 1) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Sammy Mbabazi(11 - 3) from Kampala, Uganda.  Kimutai weighed in at 168 pounds, while Mbabazi weighed in at 167 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aftab Majid, and the three ringside judges are LeBron Omondi, Robert Ngologoza and Lloyd Araptany.
