Santiago Apollo vs Dario Mattos

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Cuba-Las Tunas promoted show at Orlando Rodriguez Gym, Las Tunas,  taking place on 16/03/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cuba Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Santiago Apollo (4 - 4 - 1) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Dario Mattos(8 - 1) from Las Tunas, Cuba.  Apollo weighed in at 237 pounds and 3 ounces, while Mattos weighed in at 231 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Juan Sardina, and the three ringside judges are Jesus Ector, Lorenzo Balasco and Juan Sardina.
