Montana Nepomuceno vs Joaquin Villena

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Dominican Republic-Distrito Nacional promoted show at Santiago Chirinos Gym, Santo Domingo de Guzman,  taking place on 18/03/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Dominican Republic Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Montana Nepomuceno (9 - 6) who hails from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic and Joaquin Villena(3 - 7 - 1) from Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.  Nepomuceno weighed in at 159 pounds and 13 ounces, while Villena weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reynaldo Arellanes, and the three ringside judges are Diego Portilla, Diego Ribas and Santiago Cura.
