Jack Maskell vs Mel Clyde

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Cathey, Christchurch,  taking place on 21/03/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jack Maskell (5 - 3 - 5) who hails from Wellington, New Zealand and Mel Clyde(5 - 0 - 3) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Maskell and Clyde weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Harry Callison, and the three ringside judges are Tobias Vert, Noel Haxton and Ruki Kohu.
