James Egbedi vs Hugh Akanji

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Lagos State promoted show at Lagos Olowola, Lagos,  taking place on 27/03/2023:

Clearly AI Nigeria-Lagos State have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Lagos State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Egbedi (9 - 0 - 1) who hails from Lagos, Nigeria and Hugh Akanji(8 - 4 - 3) from Lagos, Nigeria.  Both Egbedi and Akanji weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Olufemi Awosola, and the three ringside judges are Robert Oliseh, Nwankwo George and Akeem Lagunju.
