Boxing Daily Report from the Ondoa Promotions promoted show at Montevideo Sabina, Montevideo,  taking place on 12/04/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Uruguay Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jerrold Melgoza (7 - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Jose Tejada(5 - 5 - 3) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Melgoza and Tejada weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Senon Cardenas, and the three ringside judges are Hilario Mazariegos, Elias Isabella and Ximen Feria.  

Round 1: 

Tejada gets on the inside.  Melgoza lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.
