Matthew Saomba vs Oliver Van der Linde

Boxing Daily Report from the Quartey Promotions promoted show at Harare Zvinavashe, Harare,  taking place on 03/04/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zimbabwe Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Joy TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Matthew Saomba (6 - 7 - 1) who hails from Harare, Zimbabwe and Oliver Van der Linde(10 - 0) from Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe.  Saomba weighed in at 129 pounds and 11 ounces, while Van der Linde weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roger Breytenbach, and the three ringside judges are Kwamin Mahachi, Sam Rodger and Jack Feamster.
