Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Korea-North Jeolla promoted show at Yeonji Hall, Jeonju,  taking place on 11/04/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports Korea, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Desiderio Manotoc (10(1) - 1) who hails from Antipolo, Philippines and Joo-ho Byun(12(6) - 1 - 1) from Gunsan, South Korea.  Both Manotoc and Byun weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yong-jae Song, and the three ringside judges are Ki-hun Pan, Kook-young Cha and Keun-ho Do.

Manotoc gets on the inside.  Byun lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Byun lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Manotoc steps inside.  Byun is on target with a left hook to Manotoc's body.  
Byun digs in a solid left uppercut to Manotoc's liver.  Byun tries to land a jab, but Manotoc slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Manotoc is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook.  Manotoc tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a CRUSHING left uppercut.  MANOTOC WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Some sustained pressure from Byun could be enough to finish Manotoc!  Byun lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS MANOTOC TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Byun!
