Phil Nest vs Mark Gam

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Southern England promoted show at Bournemouth Osmond, Bournemouth,  taking place on 25/04/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Southern England Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Phil Nest (3 - 5 - 2) who hails from London, UK and Mark Gam(3 - 1 - 1) from London, UK.  Both Nest and Gam weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eric McDermott, and the three ringside judges are Matthew Flint, John Zakaszewski and Dominic Sayer.

Gam walks Nest onto the ropes.  Nest wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gam dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gam throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Gam ties up his opponent.  Nest leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Gam's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
