Gethin Kinloch vs David Gilkison

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Jamaica-Kingston promoted show at Kingston Smiles, Kingston,  taking place on 17/04/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Jamaica-Kingston Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gethin Kinloch (6 - 4(1) - 2) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and David Gilkison(9 - 2) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Kinloch weighed in at 112 pounds, while Gilkison weighed in at 111 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is John Woodburn, and the three ringside judges are Rob Nivison, Mark Spotswood and Chris Moir.  

Round 1: 

Gilkison closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Gilkison clinches his opponent.  Gilkison tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kinloch's kidney. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
