Amer Qureshi vs Waqar Baten

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Federal Territory promoted show at Kuala Lumpur Sharifi, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 25/04/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Malaysia Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Amer Qureshi (9 - 1) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Waqar Baten(8 - 3) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Qureshi weighed in at 117 pounds and 10 ounces, while Baten weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Danyaal Kharoti, and the three ringside judges are Zuffur Haq, Syed Kamel and Jawad Baten.
