Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Machakos promoted show at Athi River Karim, Athi River,  taking place on 08/05/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Kenya-Nairobi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jasper Lekimeju (9 - 4 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Ahmed Farooqui(3 - 5 - 2) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Both Lekimeju and Farooqui weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lisimba Kimeli, and the three ringside judges are Kyrone Koimbori, Zach Iria and Yobachi Rubia.
