Kian Ewing vs Joel Malcomb

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Papatoetoe Cosmopolitan Club, Auckland,  taking place on 13/05/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Auckland Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kian Ewing (6 - 4 - 1) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Joel Malcomb(9(1) - 0 - 1) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Ewing and Malcomb weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joey Bridgeforth, and the three ringside judges are Chris Booth, Joe Prosser and Mike Sproule.
