Steven Krige vs Leighton Mataku

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Johannesburg Tshibuaba, Johannesburg,  taking place on 30/04/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Krige (11 - 2 - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Leighton Mataku(5 - 2(1) - 1) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Krige weighed in at 125 pounds and 10 ounces, while Mataku weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Quaashie Duncan, and the three ringside judges are David Khumalo, Luvolwethu Khumalo and Colin Ntambwe.
