Hiro Furuya vs Hajime Yokota

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Chiba promoted show at Matsudo Seto, Matsudo,  taking place on 01/05/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hiro Furuya (4 - 7 - 1) who hails from Kashiwa, Japan and Hajime Yokota(9 - 1 - 1) from Funabashi, Japan.  Both Furuya and Yokota weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Satoshi Nakahara, and the three ringside judges are Daiki Fujimura, Ichiro Yamada and Kazuhiko Sakaguchi.  

Round 1: 

Yokota hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Furuya steps to the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Yokota is looking to close the distance and walks Furuya into the corner.  Furuya throws a left hook, but Yokota ties up his opponent.  Yokota pushes his forearm into Furuya's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Yokota.
