Boxing Daily Report from the Manyama Promotions promoted show at Kampala Kalizibwe, Kampala,  taking place on 02/05/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uganda Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Kabumba (12 - 1(1)) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and Tariq Farooqui(8 - 2) from Kampala, Uganda.  Both Kabumba and Farooqui weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Naeem Kabuye, and the three ringside judges are John Wabwiremangen, Zachary Akiibua and Rob Kaana.
