David Basto vs Mark Montez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at Ian Herran Gym, San Antonio,  taking place on 02/05/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Texas Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Basto (3 - 4 - 1) who hails from Arlington, USA and Mark Montez(4 - 5 - 2) from Austin, USA.  Basto weighed in at 199 pounds And 11 ounces, while Montez weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Noah Fergusson, and the three ringside judges are Michael Toste, Brett Sproule and James Crum.  

Round 1: 

Basto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Montez lands a right uppercut.
