Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Asuncion promoted show at Playboy Nightclub, Asuncion,  taking place on 08/05/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Paraguay Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vicente Perdomo (13 - 1) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Leonardo Rubi(13 - 0 - 1) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Perdomo and Rubi weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Eduardo Lugar, and the three ringside judges are Ricardo Rita, Montel Requena and Vegas Marrero.
