Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at ABA Stadium, Auckland,  taking place on 14/05/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Commonwealth Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gareth Mbiyu (12 - 1) who hails from Kisumu, Kenya and Cole Smith(10 - 1) from Waitakere, New Zealand.  Both Mbiyu and Smith weighed in at 168 pounds.
