Mehmet Vardar vs Ivailo á Jovtvev

Boxing Daily Report from the Ako Promotions promoted show at Bogdan á Lobankov Gym, Sofia,  taking place on 15/05/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Bulgaria-Sofia Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mehmet Vardar (6 - 6 - 2) who hails from Sofia, Bulgaria and Ivailo á Jovtvev(10 - 4 - 1) from Sofia, Bulgaria.  Both Vardar and Jovtvev weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blagoy á Borisov, and the three ringside judges are Krastyu á Kabardov, Kamen á Kardamonov and Neofit á Yotov.  

Round 1: 

Jovtvev closes the distance and manouvers Vardar into a corner.  Jovtvev drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Jovtvev lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Jovtvev tries to land a left hook, but Vardar parries the shot and counters with a cross.
