Macario Rigor vs Angel Islas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Costa Rica-San Jose promoted show at Gimnasio Fight Club, San Jose,  taking place on 18/05/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Costa Rica-San Jose Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Macario Rigor (5 - 0 - 1) who hails from San Jose, Costa Rica and Angel Islas(8 - 1) from San Jose, Costa Rica.  Both Rigor and Islas weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kiki Briones, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Cendejas, Oro Serbin and Macario Gabaldon.
