Armani Bariagher vs Colin Acquah

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Northern Ghana promoted show at Sammy Rahman Gym, Tamale,  taking place on 20/05/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Northern Ghana Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Armani Bariagher (6 - 8(1) - 3) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and Colin Acquah(6 - 6(1) - 2) from Tamale, Ghana.  Both Bariagher and Acquah weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraser Habe, and the three ringside judges are Rich Burja, John Anyidoho and Obiajulu Alhassan.  

Round 1: 

Bariagher gets on the inside.  Acquah is on target with a left hook.  
Acquah lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bariagher pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Bariagher closes the distance.  Bariagher retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Acquah is whaling away with hooks, but Bariagher keeps his defence tight.
