Mark Afful vs Mahdi Gyan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ghana-Northern Ghana promoted show at Otieno Kwofie Gym, Tamale,  taking place on 20/05/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ghana-Northern Ghana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Afful (13 - 2 - 1) who hails from Tamale, Ghana and Mahdi Gyan(2 - 9 - 2) from Tamale, Ghana.  Afful weighed in at 146 pounds and 4 ounces, while Gyan weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraser Habe, and the three ringside judges are Makalo Donkor, Gazi Satter and Gazi Satter.
