Gianluigi Cecchi vs Vico Baresi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Emilia-Romagna promoted show at Modena Di Benedetto, Modena,  taking place on 22/05/2023:

Clearly AI Italy-Emilia-Romagna have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Emilia-Romagna Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gianluigi Cecchi (8 - 7) who hails from Bologna, Italy and Vico Baresi(10 - 2 - 1) from Modena, Italy.  Cecchi weighed in at 147 pounds, while Baresi weighed in at 146 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Adolfo Zanonato, and the three ringside judges are Colombo Dinucci, Alberto De Fabio and Pepe Scappini.  

Round 1: 

Baresi advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.
