Paul Matui vs Robert Mazee

Boxing Daily Report from the Ndovi Promotions promoted show at John Verdi Gym, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/05/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Paul Matui (6 - 4 - 3) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Robert Mazee(4 - 0) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Matui weighed in at 140 pounds, while Mazee weighed in at 138 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Birdi, and the three ringside judges are Kyrone Koimbori, Bob Mbiyu and Kyrone Koimbori.  

Round 1: 

Mazee advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
