Kenji Ban vs Aki Takenaka

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hokkaido promoted show at San-rifure Hakodate, Hakodate,  taking place on 25/05/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky-A Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Kenji Ban (8 - 0 - 2) who hails from Sapporo, Japan and Aki Takenaka(9 - 1) from Kobe, Japan.  Both Ban and Takenaka weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Hara, and the three ringside judges are Michi Kaneko, Eiji Tanabe and Eiji Suzuki.
