Erepu Rupaha vs Manu Mahauariki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Canterbury promoted show at Christchurch Cathey, Christchurch,  taking place on 27/05/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Canterbury Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Erepu Rupaha (13 - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Manu Mahauariki(5 - 8 - 1) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Both Rupaha and Mahauariki weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gareth Young, and the three ringside judges are Ian Fergerson, Stephen Suite and David Neild.
