Aftab Ashhad vs Ahmed Qazi

Boxing Daily Report from the Douna Promotions promoted show at Jeddah Malick, Jeddah,  taking place on 31/05/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Saudi Arabia-West Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aftab Ashhad (4 - 7 - 1) who hails from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Ahmed Qazi(7 - 9 - 1) from Mecca, Saudi Arabia.  Ashhad weighed in at 228 pounds and 4 ounces, while Qazi weighed in at 247 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Aftab Abourizk, and the three ringside judges are Zuffur Farhi, Khalid Kazmi and Zain Welshel.

That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Ashhad.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
