Rafael Kafarov vs Anar Shamhalov

Boxing Daily Report from the Amodako Promotions promoted show at Samarqand Ismayilov, Samarqand,  taking place on 02/06/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uzbekistan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Uzbek Sport, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rafael Kafarov (13 - 0 - 2) who hails from Samarqand, Uzbekistan and Anar Shamhalov(11 - 1 - 1) from Samarqand, Uzbekistan.  Both Kafarov and Shamhalov weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yaman Tahirov, and the three ringside judges are Mahir Azizi, Vahid Shaban and Vazeh Rahim.
