Edward Bowens vs Dale Rowand

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Connecticut promoted show at James Speir Gym, New Haven,  taking place on 02/06/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Connecticut Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edward Bowens (9 - 1) who hails from Waterbury, USA and Dale Rowand(8 - 0 - 1) from Stamford, USA.  Both Bowens and Rowand weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Peter Liddell, and the three ringside judges are Jack Blaney, James Waterston and Peter Liddell.  

Round 1: 

Bowens steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
