Charlie Lauwers vs Maurice Marope

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Belgium-Wallonia promoted show at Liege Gladieux, Liege,  taking place on 17/06/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Belgium-Flanders Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Charlie Lauwers (8 - 2 - 5) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Maurice Marope(10 - 2) from Ghent, Belgium.  Both Lauwers and Marope weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Boswell Rozenthal, and the three ringside judges are Launcelot Bault, Jeremy Van Driessche and Tujan Rigaudeau.
