John Kasudi vs Chris Ntuli

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Jackson Mkhize Gym, Soweto,  taking place on 05/06/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the South Africa-Gauteng Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Kasudi (9 - 3 - 1) who hails from Boksburg, South Africa and Chris Ntuli(5 - 3 - 4) from Pretoria, South Africa.  Both Kasudi and Ntuli weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John Kisombo, and the three ringside judges are Quaashie Duncan, Voshon Adams and Luvolwethu Khumalo.  

Round 1: 

Ntuli throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref ignores Kasudi's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Kasudi steps inside.  Ntuli lands a right hook.  
Kasudi feints a right hook, and then lands a left hook.  
Kasudi advances into close range.  Kasudi pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Ntuli's liver.  
Ntuli throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kasudi closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kasudi throws a right hook, but Ntuli clinches his opponent.  Ntuli uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Kasudi's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ntuli.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kasudi's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Ntuli lands a cross.  
Kasudi advances into close range and throws a left uppercut, but Ntuli holds on to his opponent.  Ntuli tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kasudi's kidney. 
Kasudi steps inside.  Kasudi sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Ntuli lands a right hook to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Kasudi feints a left, and then lands a jab.
