Vicente Cerna vs Gig Diaz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nicaragua-Leon promoted show at Leon Giraldo, Leon,  taking place on 22/06/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Nicaragua-Leon Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vicente Cerna (11(1) - 1) who hails from Leon, Nicaragua and Gig Diaz(8 - 5 - 2) from Leon, Nicaragua.  Cerna weighed in at 146 pounds And 9 ounces, while Diaz weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ramiro Quirino, and the three ringside judges are Angel Miranda, Ora Ortiz and Juan Pan.
