Gerald Mekongo vs Dabney Papineau

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ivory Coast-Lagunes promoted show at Radisson Blu Abidjan Airport, Abidjan,  taking place on 25/06/2023:

Clearly AI Ivory Coast-Lagunes have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Western African Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RTI Sport TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Gerald Mekongo (15(1) - 1) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and Dabney Papineau(9 - 2) from Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
