Sam Stater vs Paul Dowie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Connecticut promoted show at Circle Hotel, Bridgeport,  taking place on 27/06/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-California Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sam Stater (7 - 3 - 6) who hails from Riverside, USA and Paul Dowie(5 - 6 - 5) from Los Angeles, USA.  Stater weighed in at 237 pounds and 8 ounces, while Dowie weighed in at 238 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ian Stephens, and the three ringside judges are Sam Speirs, John Baines and Ian Scobie.
