Marjun Brion vs Venacio Vargas

Boxing Daily Report from the Chilembe Promotions promoted show at Havana Carro, Havana,  taking place on 15/06/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Cuba Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Marjun Brion (9 - 3) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Venacio Vargas(8 - 3 - 4) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Brion and Vargas weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luis Cruz, and the three ringside judges are Sancho Luiz, Francisco Amaya and Jax Telleria.  

Round 1: 

Brion lands a jab.  
Brion forces Vargas to retreat into the red corner.  Brion drives a right hook into Vargas's body.  
Brion sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.
