Xavier Preciado vs Alfonso Canedo

Boxing Daily Report from the Chilembe Promotions promoted show at Havana Largo, Havana,  taking place on 15/06/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Cuba Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Xavier Preciado (8 - 1 - 1) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Alfonso Canedo(7 - 3 - 1) from Havana, Cuba.  Preciado weighed in at 139 pounds and 12 ounces, while Canedo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fidel Serrano, and the three ringside judges are Beltran Diaz, Pedro Pico and Montel Palencia.
