Dembe Duncan vs Nuru Owusu

Boxing Daily Report from the Coetzee Promotions promoted show at Kumasi Anyidoho, Kumasi,  taking place on 19/06/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ghana-Ashanti Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dembe Duncan (13 - 0) who hails from Kumasi, Ghana and Nuru Owusu(12 - 2) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Duncan and Owusu weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tamarius Ankomah, and the three ringside judges are Vincent Lamptey, Connor Salifu and Rob Adjei.
