Silvestro Beretta vs Edmondo Di Fonzo

Boxing Daily Report from the Salawu Promotions promoted show at Augusto Mazzocchi Gym, Naples,  taking place on 21/06/2023:

Clearly Salawu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Campania Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Silvestro Beretta (9 - 3) who hails from Naples, Italy and Edmondo Di Fonzo(10 - 2 - 1) from Naples, Italy.  Both Beretta and Di Fonzo weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Francesco Violante, and the three ringside judges are Gianluigi Bianchi, Mario Sciglio and Primo Mancuso.  

Round 1: 

Di Fonzo steps inside.  As Beretta tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Di Fonzo has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused swelling  around the right eye.  
Beretta pivots to the side of his opponent.  Di Fonzo lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
