David Selby vs Ben Murdy

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Guyana-North promoted show at Georgetown Wands, Georgetown,  taking place on 22/06/2023:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Guyana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NCN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are David Selby (5 - 0 - 1) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Ben Murdy(7(1) - 0) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Both Selby and Murdy weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Montgomery, and the three ringside judges are Patrick Goldring, Davie Clucas and Jasper Harkness.
