Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Logan Campbell Centre, Auckland,  taking place on 23/06/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Asia-Oceania Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ashley Maddix (11 - 2(1)) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and Liang Hien(9 - 2 - 1) from Tehran, Iran.  Both Maddix and Hien weighed in at 168 pounds.
