Oscar Materoa vs Brin Korohunga

Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at Manukau Gilbride, Manukau,  taking place on 26/06/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Auckland Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Oscar Materoa (12 - 1) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Brin Korohunga(10 - 1) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Materoa and Korohunga weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is George Brain, and the three ringside judges are Billy Strachan, Ian Hobbie and David All.
