Jose Tabares vs Cipriano Contrera

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Colombia-Antioquia promoted show at Ofosu Gym, Medellin,  taking place on 25/06/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CARACOL, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jose Tabares (7 - 5 - 1) who hails from Bogota, Colombia and Cipriano Contrera(8 - 2 - 4 - 1(NC)) from Medellin, Colombia.  Tabares weighed in at 126 pounds, while Contrera weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Alejandro Yero, and the three ringside judges are Jeraldo Pascual, Selestino Corbo and Enzo Alcocer.
