Niao-ka Soon vs Genjo Liang

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Shanghai promoted show at Shanghai Ren, Shanghai,  taking place on 09/07/2023:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the China-Shanghai Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Niao-ka Soon (11 - 0) who hails from Shanghai, China and Genjo Liang(3 - 8(1) - 1) from Shanghai, China.  Both Soon and Liang weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Li Kuang, and the three ringside judges are Shing Yung, Yuan Chiang and Shing Zhao.  

Round 1: 

Soon gets on the inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Soon is on target with a right uppercut.  
Soon connects with a right uppercut.  
Soon walks Liang down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Soon lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Soon lands a left uppercut to the head followed by two right uppercut's to the body.  Soon holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Soon quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Liang throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Soon is looking to close the distance.  Soon lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Soon clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Soon pushes his forearm into Liang's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  As Liang tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Soon dabs at his face checking for damage.  Soon has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Soon is on target with a left hook to Liang's ribs.
