Boxing Daily Report from the Sikatana Promotions promoted show at Palermo Perin, Palermo,  taking place on 01/07/2023:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Italy-Sicily Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Italia, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlo Chiti (5 - 3 - 4) who hails from Catania, Italy and Leonardo Palomba(9 - 1 - 4) from Messina, Italy.  Both Chiti and Palomba weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Claudio Pasqual, and the three ringside judges are Cristiano Donadoni, Arturo Bongiorno and Cristiano Donadoni.
