Hakan Ozbayrakli vs Yavuz Rumi

Boxing Daily Report from the Salifu Promotions promoted show at Ankara Nedim, Ankara,  taking place on 01/07/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Turkey-Ankara Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hakan Ozbayrakli (12 - 3) who hails from Ankara, Turkey and Yavuz Rumi(9 - 5 - 2) from Ankara, Turkey.  Both Ozbayrakli and Rumi weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Metin Kaptan, and the three ringside judges are Selim Alptekin, Altan Rustu and Engin Ali.  

Round 1: 

Rumi connects with a cross.  
Rumi walks his opponent into the corner.  Rumi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Ozbayrakli throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Rumi.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
