Azam Kamara vs James Akiibua

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Uganda-Northern Region promoted show at Lira Ellahi, Lira,  taking place on 03/07/2023:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uganda Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on UTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Azam Kamara (8 - 1 - 1) who hails from Kampala, Uganda and James Akiibua(11 - 0) from Lira, Uganda.  Both Kamara and Akiibua weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malcolm Kalemazikusoka, and the three ringside judges are Tobias Nkore, Ricky Ssekimwanyi and Majid Aman.
